Week 2 Research Observations

I found that three administrators that I talked to all had different ideas on what to research. Their ideas were all what they thought was important to their programs. I discussed this with  an assistant principal, special education director, and an athletic director. They all had very good ideas, but all their ideas were realated to their fields. I found that to be very interesting. The AP wanted me to look at teacher turnover, the special ed director wanted me to concentrate on reducing our percentage of students labled special ed, and our athletic director wanted me to find ways to improve the girls side of athletics. I decided to go with the AP's suggestion and research the turnover in our high school. I will look in to this and report back later.
